We are family! International Casting Directors in Berlin

SHOOTING STARS is a prestigious program, taking place in Berlin each year. Young actors from all over Europe are nominated by the members of EFP(European Film Promotion) to take part in it.

Two major casting associations (The International Casting Directors Network and The Casting Society of America), along with Spotlight are helping the Actors Industry Network through the SHOOTING STARS program.

Basically, a common ground is created, where young actors, many already famous in their own countries, and casting directors from around the globe get together. And the results have been consistent and quite impressive: 8 out of 10 SHOOTING STARS from previous editions have been cast in international co-productions.

This year, ten most interesting and versatile talents were introduced to the press, industry and public at the Berlin International Film Festival.

For me, the event was another great experience, an opportunity to find new rising talents and to get in touch with industry professionals!
